This policy explains how reservations are confirmed at Bentark Hotel and the terms for changing or cancelling a booking. It applies to bookings made through our website, by phone, by email or at reception.
Making a reservation
- All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed once you receive a confirmation from the hotel.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
- Please check your dates, room type and guest details carefully — you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Deposits and payment
- Depending on the rate and season, we may request a deposit or full prepayment to guarantee your reservation.
- The remaining balance and any incidental charges are payable on or before check-out.
- Rates are in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and include applicable taxes and service charges unless stated otherwise.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is from 2:00 PM. Check-out is until 12:00 PM (noon).
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
- A valid ID or passport is required at check-in.
Cancellations and amendments
Unless a different policy is stated for a specific rate or offer at the time of booking, the following standard terms apply:
- Cancellations or changes made at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date are free of charge.
- Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of arrival may be charged the equivalent of the first night's stay.
- Some promotional, group or event rates may be non-refundable — this will be clearly indicated before you confirm.
- To cancel or amend a booking, contact reception at +251 11 666 2223 or email reservations@bentarkhotel.com with your booking reference.
No-shows
If you do not arrive on your scheduled check-in date and have not notified us, the reservation may be treated as a no-show and charged the equivalent of the first night's stay. The remainder of the booking may be released.
Refunds
Where a refund is due under this policy, it will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable period after cancellation. Timing may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Group and event bookings
